Photo Assignment 3, Gray

 The University's entomology department has constructed a display bee habitat on North Campus in attempt to raise awareness about the importance of conservation of wild bees. The habitat is constructed from an earthen material known as cob. Cob is a combination of water, soil, clay, sand and straw. My horticulture class recently visited the wall to help with maintenance. 
The wall after stones were removed from the surface.

Rocks must be removed from the cob mixture because.... (Medium)
Cob is best mixed with your bare feet. Stepping on a rock is not fun. (Detail)
