Photo Assignment #3, Shin

UMD Basketball this past Tuesday! I decided to take photos of the game because I thought it would be a really cool event. It was my first time at a UMD basketball game, so I was super excited. Here are my images!

Overall. This is the Xfinity Center! I went up the bleachers to get this shot.

Medium. This is the UMD basketball team versus Northwestern. Our defense was really amazing!

Medium. This is the UMD dance team. When they came out, we had just reached half-time.

Medium. After the dance team, the cheerleaders came out!

Medium. While I was watching the game, I saw Testudo playing with kids. Testudo danced around with kids who were cleaning the floors, and even game some kids on the sidelines high-fives.

Medium. I thought this was really cool. This was my first basketball game, and seeing the flag come down was totally awesome.

Medium. In the first-half of the game, UMD was fouled. One tradition at UMD is to hold your hands up as good luck to the free throw. I tried to highlight my friend who was holding her hands by making everything else in the photo black and white. I thought this angle was really cool.

Medium. When I saw the band, I thought getting a medium shot of the band would be really cool. It was really cool seeing them in action.

Detail. UMD fans show their support in a lot of ways. A lot of students had this lanyard, so I thought getting a picture of it would show the Maryland spirit.
